This piece is a re-composition of "Ho Hum" for jazz big band. It features a lot of flowing chromatic lines, challenging brass ranges, and trumpet and trombone solos.

A classical take on the studio orchestra, this piece combines big band with strings and percussion, with touches of both Bob Brookmeyer and Shostakovich

Terminality
Originally for trombone octet and rhythm section, this pieces treats the big band like a wind ensemble, featuring slow, decorated melodies, dramatic progressions, and an exciting ending

Eva Nova Suite
Based on the popular anime series "Neon Genesis: Evangelion" this piece aims to combine different harmonic and melodic aspects to convey the plot of the series, accompanied by narrative vocals.

Trangos Signora
This is a modern big band piece written in the style of Kenny Wheeler, featuring vibraphone, trumpet, and saxophone solos.

Viva o Hermeto
Dedicated to the great Hermeto Pascoal, this piece features a contemporary take on the big band, with slow developments, exciting climaxes, and challenging meters.

Small Song
Written for the Buchanan High School Jazz Band 'A', this piece is a traditional take on the jazz large ensemble. It's simple melody is developed throughout the course of the piece, featuring solos from both the tenor saxophone and trombone

Common Ground
Written in Spring 2019, the first half of the piece was written while waiting for a layover flight at the Chicago airport. A week later, the second half of the piece was written...also waiting for a layover in the Chicago airport. ​
Features a chorale introduction, and alto saxophone solo.
